SERP Action - Draft Negative Declaration

Schenectady County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town of Duanesburg, as lead agency, has determined that the Mariaville Lake Sewer District No.2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the construction of a sanitary sewer system and wastewater treatment plant to serve portions of the Town of Duanesburg and Town of Princetown, including the Hamlet of Mariaville Lake. The proposed gravity sanitary sewer system and associated wastewater treatment facility will replace several failing individual sewage disposal systems that currently discharge into storm sewers, ditches, and the lake. The proposed project will accomplish this task and the new system will be permitted under the SPDES (State Pollution Discharge Elimination System) permit program. The project is located in the Town of Duanesburg and the Town of Princetown, including the Hamlet of Mariaville Lake.

Negative Declaration

Schoharie County - The Town of Richmondville Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendments to Town Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to Town Zoning Law removing country club and golf course as a permitted use in Watershed Protection District. Modification to requirements for use and area variances to comply with Town Law. Adding requirement that telecommunications facilities can only be proposed by FCC licensed companies or proposed to be built for FCC licensed companies (i.e., no speculative facilities). Additional definitions added. Additional guidelines for Planned Development District added. The project is located in the Town of Richmondville.

Revised Draft EIS

Montgomery County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Revised Draft EIS on the land acquisition for Athletic Fields for the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District, SED Project No. 27-06-01-04-0-002-001. Comments may be submitted in writing on the Revised Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until July 16, 2001. The action involves the purchase of approximately 13 acres of land. The project is located at 112 Old Johnstown Road in the Town of Fonda, New York.
