Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Dickinson, as lead agency, had determined that the proposed Local Law entitled, "A Local Law Amending Chapter 108" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves changes to the land use designation of properties within the Town of Dickinson.

|SERP Action - Draft Negative Declaration|
Broome County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Village of Johnson City, as lead agency, has determined that the CSO-Collection System Improvements, NYSDEC No., 7-0347-00039/00003, NYSCWSRF No. C7-6204-01-00, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The proposed project will involve the upgrade of two existing combined sewer overflows. The facilities are located at the AES Westhover power plant site. The proposed work includes the following:
The upgrade of the existing CSOs is required per Consent Order No.R7-0589-90-12 between the Village of Johnson City and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The project will improve water quality by maximizing flow to the Binghamton/Johnson City Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant and provide screening of combined sewer overflows at permitted discharge locations. The project is located in the Village of Johnson City.

|Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS|
Broome County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Whitney Point Central School District, Control No. 03-14-01-06-0-010-001. The action involves construction of a 150,000 square foot high school building and related site improvements on approximately 30 acres of a 210 acre parcel of land. The project is located along NYS Rt. 79 in the Town of Barker.
