Project Description: Applicant proposes the Saratoga Farm Planned Unit Development, a 21 lot residential subdivision on a 129 acre site, including common land utilized for horse barns, pastures and riding trails. Grade and fill activity for farm road improvements and driveway construction will impact 0.33 acres of Freshwater Wetland Q-11 (formerly S-40, class III) and 3.48 acres of wetland adjacent area. As mitigation, 0.78 acres of wetlands will be created. All houses will be located more than 100 feet from the wetland. The project is located off the northwest side of Nelson Avenue Extension, Town of Malta. |
