Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Planning Board of the Town of Evans, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed St. Paul's Place Apartments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves rezoning of 5.29 acres from R-2 to MFR-4 for the subsequent development of 32 senior housing units to be located behind St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The project is located at 930 Lake Street, Angola, New York.

Erie County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Buffalo Crushed Stone - Wehrle Drive Quarry Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of the Wehrle Drive Quarry by 19 acres. The project is located at 8615 Wehrle Drive, Clarence, New York.

Erie County - The Town Board of the Town of Amherst, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed rezoning of 3.2 acres of land from Residence - Three (R-3) to Community Facilities (CF) (Z-8-01) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 6,960 sq. ft. concrete masonry and steel maintenance building to service the Park Country Club of Buffalo. Approximately 290 feet of the site borders Ellicott Creek.

Erie County - The Town Board of the Town of Amherst, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed extension of John James Audubon Parkway will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a 400 ft. extension of the existing four-lane access roadway which serves the Town complex which includes the Town Court, Police Department, Senior Center and Main Library. The roadway extension will create a secondary means of access to the Senior Center and will include a maintenance turnaround to facilitate snow removal, a new concrete sidewalk and additional street lights in the median.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Erie County - The Town Board of the Town of Clarence, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Clarence Hollow Pollution Abatement Project. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at 8:05 p.m. at the Town Hall, One Town Place, Clarence, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 25, 2001. The action involves the installation of sewer infrastructure within Clarence Hollow and the construction of a new gravity feed trunk line between the Heise Road interceptor of the existing Peanut Line Private Sanitary Trunk Sewer and the new Clarence Hollow sewer infrastructure. The project is located in the Town of Clarence.
