Project Description: The State of New York Department of Transportation (DOT) has applied for a Freshwater Wetlands Article 24 permit to disturb 2.196 acres of state regulated wetland UW-8. This disturbance is in conjunction with the Judd Road Connector project which will link Judd Road in the Town of Whitestown to the Route 5 & 12 intersection and Route 8 in the Town of New Hartford. DOT has prepared a Final Wetland Mitigation Report that is availible for review at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation office at 207 Genesse Street, Utica, New York.. DOT proposes a combination of mitigation including wetland creation, buffer area acquisition, and wetland/public benefit projects. |
