Project description: The action involves the creation of a new 2.0 acre commercial sand and gravel extraction on lands owned by the Town of Crown Point for the purpose of use by the Town. The Town proposes to extract approximately 43,000 cubic yards of sand and gravel to be used as a source of material to cover the existing Town Landfill (now closed) as a part of the landfill closure plan approved by the Department of Environmental Conservation. Material to be extracted will be screened on-site and trucked directly to the landfill from the extraction area. Other than trucks to be used to haul the extracted material, the Town proposes to operate a screen and one front-end loader on the site.

Project description: The action involves the proposed replacement of culverts at four stream crossings with bridges to alleviate flooding. Existing culverts range in size from two to four feet in diameter. All proposed bridges will measure 12.5 feet wide by 25 feet in length. This work will occur on Fairways 12, 13, 14 and 17 where golf cart/maintenance roads now cross Bottle Creek and its associated wetlands.

Project Name: Town Of Indian Lake - water line improvements

Location: Several properties near NYS Routes 28, 13 & 28N and Maple Lodge Road, Hamilton County

Project description: Applicants propose the installation of 3,200 lineal feet of water line and valves to reduce pressure on the existing municipal water system serving 150 residences in the Hamlet area of Blue Mt. Lake. The water lines will cross three wetland areas of approximately .05 acres and two streams requiring temporary diversions. The work will occur primarily within the highway right-of-way and will be completed in one construction season.

Draft Negative Declaration

Fulton County - The Village of Broadalbin, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Broadalbin Local Law No. 2 for 2001 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Negative Declaration will become final at the end of the public comment period, June 15, 2001, if no substantive comments are received. The action consists of amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Broadalbin to establish minimum lot sizes, maximum lot coverage percentages, minimum living areas, parking spot requirements, minimum yard dimensions, and maximum building heights in residential, business and industrial districts for buildings erected and altered after the passage of said amendments, to require applications and permits whenever a building is erected or altered, and to establish penalties and violations and proposed amendments to the Fire Prevention and Building Code establishing penalties for violations. The project is located in the Village of Broadalbin.

Clinton County - The Town of Plattsburgh Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Plattsburgh Zoning Ordinance Update will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the approval of the Zoning Ordinance Update. The project is located in the Town of Plattsburgh.

Clinton County - The Town of Plattsburgh Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Landings Subdivision 2001 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a three parcel single family residential, one multi family residential parcel 1, one private road parcel to be owned and maintanined by owners of subdivision lots pursuant to a road maintenance agreement approved by the New York State Attorney General, and approximately five acre remaining lands subdivision. The project is located on the east side of Route 9 South, Zoned R-2, Town of Plattsburgh.
