Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS with Public Hearing

Onondaga County - The Planning Board of the Town of Dewitt, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Britton Knolls Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 24, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town of Dewitt Hall, 5400 Butternut Drive, Dewitt, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 4, 2001. The action involves a proposed residential development on 37.7 acres. The residential subdivision will consist of 47 lots. The project is located between Collamer Road and Temple Drive in the Town of Dewitt.

Tompkins County - The Planning Board of the Town of Ithaca, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Eco Village at Ithaca Second Neighborhood Group and Amendment of Special Land Use District. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 5, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall, 215 North Tioga Street, Ithaca, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 15, 2001. The action involves site plan approval for the proposed development of a Second Neighborhood consisting of 30 +/- dwelling units and a common house and the amendment of a Special Land Use District to be applied to the overall EcoVillage property on Town of Ithaca Tax Parcel Nos. 28-1-26.2 and 28-1-26.8, totaling 176 +/- acres. Subdivision approval may also be required.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Onondaga County - The Town of Clay, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Zone Change, -Amended-Amerada Hess Corporation and Pitcher Hill Associates. The action involves a change of zone for approximately 8.9 acres from Apartment District to Gasoline Facilities District and Office and Retail Store District. The project is located on the south east corner of Bear and Buckley Roads.
