Manhattan County - The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cornerstone 333 E. 102nd Street will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of 231 units of housing in an 8-story building on city-owned land with approximately 16,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail commercial space and approximately 55,000 sq. ft. of community space located on three floors of the building including office space for non-profit organizations. The project is located at the Northwest corner of E. 102nd Street and First Avenue, Manhattan Community Board 11.

|Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing|
Bronx County - The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development & Finance, as lead agency, has accepted a draft EIS on the proposed Fulton Fish Market at Hunts Point. A public hearing on the draft EIS will be held on June 13, 2001 at 6:30 p.m. at Public School 48 Auditorium, 1290 Spofford Avenue, Bronx, NY 10474. Written comments are requested and will be accepted until June 25, 2001 at Noon. The project involves the relocation of the Fulton Fish Market, currently located adjacent to the South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan, to the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center (HPFDC) Development Site B by the end of 2002. The new fish market will accommodate approximately 55 businesses in a new state-of-the-art approximately 451,000 square foot two-story building to be built on an approximately 30-acre parcel. Each selling stall will have a freezer and refrigerator, a display and/or preparation area, storage capacity, ice making equipment and be located along a central delivery corridor. There will be approximately 1,400 loading and queuing spaces for suppliers and customers, and approximately 600 employee parking spaces on a portion of Development Site A. The project is located at Hunts Point Food Distribution Center Development (HPFDC) Site B; Northeast and Southeast corners of Halleck Street and Food Center Drive, Bronx, New York; Tax Block 2780, Lot 1; Tax Block 2781, part of Lot 160 and part of Lot 306; Tax Block 2778, part of Lot 100.
