Serp Action - Draft Negative Declaration

Livingston County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town of Sparta, as lead agency, has determined that the Livingston County Water District No. 1, Zone 5 extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The public water supply facilities will be extended within Livingston County Water District No. 1, Zone 5, in order to improve the quality and quantity of water available to area residents. Comments on the negative declaration will be accepted by the contact person listed below until May 4, 2001. The project is located on a portion of NYS Route 256 and the Hamlet of Scottsburg in the Town of Sparta, and a portion of East Swamp Road in the Town of Conesus.

Livingston County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Livingston County Board of Supervisors, as lead agency, has determined that the Conesus Lake County Sewer District, Extension No. 8 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the installation of a total of approximately 9,000 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer mains and a new pump station to be located on Richmond Hills Road in the vicinity of Kinney Creek. Comments on the negative declaration will be accepted by the contact person listed below until May 4, 2001.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed construction of a new radio antenna at the Athena Middle/High School in the Greece Central School District, SED Project No. 26-05-01-06-0-017-024. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until May 25, 2001. The action involves the construction of a radio antenna, which will reach 195 feet above grade. The project is located at 800 Long Pond Road, Rochester, New York.

Acceptance of Final EIS

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Greece, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed 846 and 860 Long Pond Road Rezoning. The action involves rezoning vacant land from Single-Family Residential to Restricted Business in order to develop a retail/office plaza. The project is located east of Long Pond Road and north of English Road in the Town of Greece.
