The Village of Middleville as the applicant proposes to rip-rap one hundred and fifty feet of Maltanner Creek (H-240-180-26) a standards C(T) stream. The site is eroding towards two residential structures placing the structures and associated facilities in peril. The flows will be directed into a new channel that will be dug along the southern bank of the stream. this will allow the work to be done in the dry. The site is located just east of the village and south of route 29.

The applicant proposes to clear and grade a 11,500 square foot site for parking area at the east end of their property in the City of Watertown. The site would be an extension of the existing parking lot bordering Kelsey Creek. The site borders the southerly end of regulated freshwater wetland W-13, a 100 acre Class II mixed covertype wetland. A vegetative buffer planting is proposed to reduce visual and noise impacts in the wetland.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for the discharge of 900 gpd of treated sanitary wastewater from a proposed treatment system to a pond on tributary Ont 7a-3 (Class C) of Chaumont Bay - Lake Ontario, where the applicant proposes to open a golf course.
