Replace an existing 28' by 12'diameter culvert with a 22' long, 11' by 19' concrete box culvert, with 20' wing walls. An "apron" of heavy stone fill, approximately 35' long by 64' wide, will be placed at each end of the new culvert.

St. Lawrence Cement has applied to the DEC for various permits under the ECL to construct and operate a state of the art dry process cement plant. The capacity of the plant will be approximately 2.6 million US tons of clinker per year. The primarily fuel will be coal/coke blend. Fuel oil and natural gas will be used for ignition. In addition the facility will include the construction of an enclosed conveyor system, control facilities, office and maintenance facilities, access roads, parking areas, a new docking facility and a public park. The operation will also involve the continuation of mining at an existing permitted quarry.

Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Parts 201, et seq. the applicant has applied for a state facility permit for air pollution control. The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this air application and a draft permit is available for review. Operate a Solid Waste Management Facility which may store waste tires and shredded tires

The applicant proposes to place approximately 200 feet of rock rip rap along the bank of Bagley Brook. Work is proposed to stabilize this portion of the stream which has, due to flooding events, caused bank erosion and the loss of agricultural land adjacent to the stream. The project is located approximately 0.3 miles south of the intersection of County Route 2 and East Terry Clove Road, Town of Hamden.

The applicant proposes to excavate an aggraded section of SR-146-9-27 approximately 100 feet in length. The excavated channel will have the same dimesions as the stable upstream portion. The project is located on Pegg Road off County Route 14, Town of New Lisbon.
