The applicant proposes to repair the Hempstead Lake Gatehouse. The existing leaks in the lower gates will be repaired and the upper sluice gates will be removed to allow for continuous flow. Debris will be removed from the gatehouse and a water level data recorder will be installed. The project is located on Hempstead Lake, Town of Hempstead, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to remove existing bulkhead south of existing travel lift and create intertidal wetlands utilizing fill and a two tiered bulkhead system. Project includes addition of 27 floats, 2 ramps, 23 mooring poles, and elimination of existing travel lift by constructing 27 linear feet of new bulkhead in line with existing bulkhead and placing fill. The project is located on Fire Island Avenue, Babylon, Suffolk County.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this new permit for the discharge of 58,000 gallons per day of laundromat wastewater treated via an Aquarelle Treatment System to the groundwater. The proposed facility is a laundromat. The proposed discharge is in an area designated as a sole source aquifer. The following water purveyors have been identified as having a service area within 3 miles, Suffolk County Water Authority & Brentwood Water District. Applicant proposes to construct one 36 foot low profile retaining wall below mean high water, near culvert, and one 30 foot low profile retaining wall below mean high water around adjacent tree. Project will require placing 20 cubic yards of fill behind new retaining walls. Project is located at Otter Pond, Main Street, Sag Harbor, Suffolk County.

Applicant proposes to subdivide 222.85 acres and create 31 lots. Lots 1-29 will be developed with single family dwellings. Lot 30 (2.39acres) will be used for maintenance facilities. Lot 31 (160) acres will be developed as an 18 hole not-for-profit golf course with tennis courts, pool, club house, parking and superintendents residence. Five ponds will be created with a toal acreage of 4.55 acres. Ponds will be filled through natural rainfall and also will utilize existing irrigation wells. An additional irrigation well is proposed at 50 gpm with a depth to 90 feet, total proposed pumping rate of 1,200 gpm. Property is located Main Road and Peconic Bay Blvd., Mattituck, Town of Southold.
