Negative Declaration

Genesee/Monroe County - The Village of Bergen, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 34.5 kV Transmission Line in the Towns of Sweden and Bergen will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a 5.31 mile long, 34.5 kV, overhead subtransmission line connecting the Village of Bergen Electric Company with Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation's 115 kV Lockport-Mortimer transmission line facilities in the southern part of the Town of Sweden.

Orleans County - The Town of Murray, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of the Town of Murray Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of the Town of Murray Comprehensive Plan which includes an inventory of existing social, economic and environmental elements, established goals, policies and implementation strategies, and outlines a long-term land use plan. The project is located townwide.

Ontario County - The Town Planning Board of the Town of Victor, as lead agency, has proposed that the Parkwood at the Drumlins may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction of 154 townhouse units in 20 buildings on 46.77 acres. The project is located in the Town of Victor.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed new transportation facility construction. The action involves the acquisition of approximately 56 acres of undeveloped land and the construction of a 36,000 square foot transportation facility. The project is located on Lehigh Station Road, Henrietta, New York.

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed land acquisition and construction of a New Transportation Facility in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District, SED Project No. 26-17-01-06-5-019-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until May 11, 2001. The action involves the purchase of approximately 45 acres of land and 40,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located on Lehigh Station Road in the Town of Henrietta.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Steuben County - The Town Board of the Town of Erwin, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed New Highway Bridge and Extension of Robert Dann Drive to NYS Route 415. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 8, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at The Town of Erwin Town Hall, 117 West Water Street, Painted Post, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 18, 2001. The action involves the extension of Robert Dann Drive for 2600 feet which includes the construction of a 920 foot bridge over the Cohocton River to intersect with NYS Route 415 approximately 1000 feet east of Sunset Avenue through the Gordon Hakes Recreational Vehicles Sales property. The extension will also involve crossing Canada Road and the Norfolk and Southern Railroad and will go through Kinsella Park, a town park. The project is located in the Town of Erwin, Steuben County.

Wayne County - The Wayne County Water and Sewer Authority, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Red Creek Area Regional Wastewater Facilities Project. A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement will be held on May 14, 2001 at 7:00 p. m. at the Wolcott Town Hall, 6070 Lake Avenue, Wolcott, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 25, 2001. The action involves the construction of a 500,000-gallon per day regional wastewater treatment facility in the Town of Wolcott, north of the village of Red Creek. The treatment facility will be constructed so that it may be expanded at some time in the future to treat up to 1,000,000-gallons per day. The treatment facility will discharge effluent to Red Creek. The project also includes the installation of 20,000+/- linear feet of sewer main, the conversion of the existing Red Creek treatment plant to a pump station, and connection to an existing gravity trunk sewer in and near the Village of Red Creek.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Ontario County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Final EIS on the proposed acquisition of land and additions/alterations to the Geneva High School / Middle School in the Geneva City School District, SED Project No. 43-07-00-01-0-010-005. Comments on the Final EIS will be accepted by the contact person until April 26, 2001. The action involves the purchase of 50 acres of land adjacent to existing property and 135,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located at 101 Carter Road in the City of Geneva.
