Project Description:

The Town of Farmington proposes to install sanitary sewer construct a 3,500 lineal feet (LF) of 8-inch gravity sewer along Loomis Road to tie in to an existing man hole and 750 LF of 10-inch gravity sewer along Pumpkin Hook Road to tie into a proposed pump station. The project will provide sewer to commercial and industrial facilities and existing residences. The project includes a directional drill under the tip of a regulated fresh water wetland. The draft Article 24 Permit, which includes mitigating conditions, is available for review and comment at the Region 8 Office.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: Farmington Town Board
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management: This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment: Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than May 11 2001.

Project Description:

The Town has submitted an application to take up to 22,800 gallons of water per day from the Village of Bath's water system to provide service to a new 52 lot residential subdivision on 44.7 acres of land located generally north of Washington Road and south east of a golf course. The Buck Meadows Estates subdivision also requires a NYSDEC stormwater pollution control permit for the construction phase, a 401 Water Quality Certification and an engineering approval for the proposed sanitary sewer.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.

The Town of Sodus proposes to extend the water supply and distribution system of the District #5 into it's Extension #2 to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 7,900 gallons per day from the Town of Williamson's Lake Ontario source. The project includes the installation of 13,300 linear feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances to serve 48 residential and agricultural properties and new growth along Centenary Road.
