The applicant proposes a 120' stone block retaining wall on property owned by the applicant on Cayuga Lake, at 6359 Water St., Cayuga. Approximately 90 cubic feet of fill will be placed behind the wall. This project is being requested due to erosion and protection from wave action.

Rip rap 200' of the Seneca River on Lots 32 and 33 of the Summer Haven Subdivision along Krystyna Lane (Fire Lane 6). Rip rap is to be placed along the river at the existing bank for erosion protection.

The applicant proposes to modify its SPDES to upgrade an existing tank absorption field to handle sanitary wastes from two other small systems used for the original school facility. The permit would also allow for the occasional discharge of water from the swimming pool to Bumps Creek. Monitoring and limits for chlorine would be required.

The Department has received an application from Eaglewood Associates, Inc. for proposed work in the adjacenet area of state designated freshwater wetland CIC-17 (Cicero Swamp). The work includes regrading approximately 0.97 acres to construct a stormwater detention basin as erosion and sediment control from the High Meadows at the Pastures subdivision. The Department has received an application from Robert Bresnahan for a new 3.6 acre unconsolidated sand and gravel mining facility to be known as the Rice Pit. The proposed facility is located south of County Route 45 approximately one mile east of Palermo in the Town of Palermo, Oswego County on lands owned by Roberta Rice. The application is available for review in the Syracuse office.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve a modification of an existing discharge permit for Felix-Schoeller Technical Papers in the Town of Richland, Oswego County. The permit modification would allow for a temporary discharge to the Salmon River of a coating biocide (4-chloro-3, 5-xylenol) which has been detected in the wastewater treatment facility storage lagoon. A draft permit and application are available for review in the Syracuse office.

The Department has received a Public Water Supply application from the Town of Volney to serve up to 35,000 gallons per day thru OCWA to the Oswego Health Care Campus Water District Extension No. 1 located along County Route 57 (East River Road) in the area known as Bundyville.
