Negative Declaration

Westchester County - The Board of Trustees for the Village of Sleepy Hollow, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Restorative Dredging Lake Fremont will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the dredging of approximately 4,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediments from the upper portion of Lake Fremont; installation of two settling tanks within the right of way of Fremont Road; and site plan approval for the proposed alterations to DeVries Park to accommodate the deposition of the aforementioned dredged material. The project is located in the northwest section of the Village of Sleepy Hollow.

Positive Declaration and Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Dutchess County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and construction of a New Elementary School for the Poughkeepsie City School District, SED Project No. 13-15-00-01-0-018-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared. The action involves the purchase of 6 acres of land and 82,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located on Lincoln Avenue in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The action involves the purchase of 0.9 acres of land and 115,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located on Colonial Avenue in the Town of Pelham.

Notice of Hearing - Draft Scope

Orange County - The Town of New Windsor Planning Board, as lead agency, has received a Draft Scoping document submitted by Martin's Foods of South Burlington, Inc. for construction of a 55,200 s.f. Hannaford Food and Drug Store to be located generally near and around the intersection of New York State Routes 32 and 94 in the Town of New Windsor. A public scoping session on the Draft Scoping Document will be held on April 25, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 555 Union Avenue, New Windsor, New York.
