Project Description: The applicant proposes to replace the West State Street Bridge over the Genesee River. Access to the site will be over the levee of state maintained flood control land. A cobble/rock riprap access ramp and working platform will be constructed within the banks of the river. The new bridge will have a center pier. A sheet pile cofferdam will be installed (with dewatering and onsite treatment of that water) to allow for construction of the pier. |

Project Description: Applicant proposes to skim approximately 1850 cubic yards of sand and gravel annually from four (4) gravel bars in Clear Creek. One bar is located on the west side of the US Route 62 bridge about 600 feet south of Richardson Road. The remainder are between bridges on Taylor Hollow Road and US Route 62, north of Richardson Road. All locations are on lands owned by the applicant. Clear Creek is a wild steelhead stream; therefore, sand and gravel bars will be skimmed to 12 inches above the typical low (summer) water level of the stream in order to provide habitat for steelhead fish. |
