Project Description: To weaken the wave action entering the bay on the quarry side of the existing marina and protect the area from further erosion, the applicant proposes to install a 6' x 200' floating wave attenuator style dock from shore to an existing lighted rock pile, over a rocky sandbar area that is not a thru-traffic channel. The dock will be anchored to the shore and rock pile by concrete anchors, with four additional concrete anchors 6 feet in diameter by 6 inches thick connected to the dock by 5/16" galvanized chain. The dock will be lighted by three 25 watt lights along its length so as to be visible at night.
