Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct a 20 ft wide by 400 ft long driveway of bank run gravel over geotextile, with three 36-inch diameter cuvert pipes to carry the flow of the headwaters of Tributary #1 of Beaver Meadows Creek. The driveway will affect approximately 2,000 square feet of Freshwater Wetland #WV-1 and 4,500 square feet of the wetland's 100-foot wide Adjacent Area. The driveway is proposed in order to provide access for a camper to cross the regulated Wetland, Adjacent Area and stream, and will access Canada Hill Road on the north side, about 330.4 feet east of the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Railroad right-of-way. |

Project Description: The application is for a U.S. Department of Agriculture Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) wetland restoration and enhancement project. A low earthen dam (3 feet high by 100 feet long) and three pothole complexes with connecting "level ditches" will be constructed within the 170 acre WRP easement, creating approximately 10 acres of open-water and marsh for waterfowl in regulated Freshwater Wetland # RA-2. The dike will be constructed using material from pothole excavations. Additional excavated material will be spread and graded to match existing topography. The earthen dam and a pothole complex is located 1,760 feet south of Weeden Road, east of Elm Creek in the Village of Randolph; another pothole complex is located 800 feet south of Weeden Road, east of Elm Creek in the Village of Randolph and the remaining pothole complex is about 1,210 feet south of Weeden Road, immediately east of the Randolph Village limits in the Town of Randolph. |
