Project Description: The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a modification to an existing permit for the discharge of wastewater to an unamed tributary of the Hudson River. The discharge from the truck wash water has been segregated from Outfall 001 and directed to new Outfall 008. The TSS limits have been revised for Outfall 001 to take into account the background TSS variability in the intake water. The limits and monitoring requirements for Outfall 006 (CKD Landfill pH treatment system discharge) have been revised. Also, the Zebra Mussel Control Program has been updated. The applicant's facility is located on Route 9 West in the Town of Catskill. SPDES #NY 0006874. |
