The Department has made a tentative determination to approve the application for a permit for this existing laundromat facility to discharge13,300 gallons per day average of process wastewater to groundwater via leaching pools. The permit covers two outfalls (one for treated laundromat process wastewater and one for sanitary). The facility is located at 506 Main Street, Center Moriches, Brookhaven Town, Suffolk County. (SPDES#0266434). The proposed discharge is located within an area designated as a sole source aquifer. The following water purveyors have been identified as having service areas located within a 3 mile radius of the applicant's facility: Suffolk County Water Authority.

The applicant proposes to install a 982 square foot pool with 10' by 10' spa, 11' by 17' cabana, retaining wall and fill. The project is located within the Recreational section of the Nissequogue River Corridor. The project site is located at 32 Riverview Terrace, Smithtown, Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, SCTM# 0800-05-09-012.

The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling, deck, driveway, and sanitary system 60' from the Freshwater Wetland E-14. The property is located at Country Estates Road, in Westhampton, Town of Southampton.

The applicant proposes to reconstruct 260 feet of bulkhead in-place, reconstruct 48 feet of bulkhead within 18 inches and place 250 cubic yards fill material behind the bulkhead as backfill. Apparent high water is located landward of the bulkhead in some areas. The project will result in the loss of approximately 1000 square feet of tidal wetlands known as littoral zone (SM/LZ). The project is located at 230 Shore Road, Southampton, Town of Southampton, SCTM # 0900-76-5-22.

The applicant proposes to remove and replace within 10" of the existing bulkhead 115 feet of bulkhead. Extend the bulkhead on the west side of the boat basin by constructing 8 feet of new bulkhead and a 10 ft. return. A 10 ft. section of bulkhead on the northwest corner of the boat basin will be removed and replaced with a 10 ft. jetty-type section with no backfill and the 22 ft. wave break will be removed and replaced in the same location. All existing wood decks landward of the bulkhead, 3 mooring piles, and 2 floats will be removed during construction and replaced upon completion. The boat basin (approximately 40' x 40') will be dredged to 4 ft. below mean low water with resultant 110 cubic yards of dredged material to be used as backfill. The property is located at 53 West Tiana Road, Hampton Bays, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk on Tiana Bay.
