Project Description: Applicants propose to construct an improved private homeowners marina involving paving of an existing boat ramp with storm drainage control, installation of a seasonal floating dock system with a maximum of 32 dock slips tied to the existing concrete dock, elimination of 12 shoreline docks and restoration with a three-year planting of 150 feet of shoreline to a natural state. The new dock system would be a maximum of 150' x 44' to serve the 33 residential lots with deeded access. This project also requires a permit from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation under the N.Y.S. Protection of Waters law (Environmental Conservation Law Article 15 Title 5) and a Water Quality Certification under Section 401 of the U. S. Project Description: The action involves an after-the-fact permit for a three lot subdivision of which two lots each contain an individual single family dwelling. Naomi Tannen also requests a prospective two-lot subdivision of Tax Map Parcel # 126-2-22.1 for the purpose of creating a 55.1 acre lot containing three residential buildings and a 225 acre lot containing four residential buildings. No new buildings, land use or development are proposed. Existing residential buildings are served by on-site sewage disposal and water supply facilities.


Positive Declaration

Warren County - The Lake George Park Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lake George Sonar Demonstration Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the treatment of four locations comprising approximately 36 acres of Lake George (total lake surface approximately 28,000 acres) with Sonar (fluridone), an aquatic herbicide, for Eurasian Watermilfoil control. The project is located at Sawmill Bay, Paradise Bay, West Tongue Mountain/Northwest Bay and Moonlight Bay/Harbor Islands.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Saratoga County - The Town Board of the Town of Clifton Park, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Corporate Commerce Area. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on March 19, 2001 at 7:10 p.m. at the Town of Clifton Park Town Hall. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until March 30, 2001. The action involves addressing land-use, infrastructure, and environmental issues associated with future development in the Corporate Commerce Area. The project is located in the Town of Clifton Park and comprises all land that is currently zoned Corporate Commerce District B-5.

Saratoga County - The Town Board of the Town of Halfmoon, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the increased development occurring in North Halfmoon A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on March 20, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Halfmoon Town Hall. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until April 2, 2001. The draft GEIS addresses land-use, infrastructure, and environmental issues associated with future development in the North Halfmoon area, and will be used in support of anticipated future site plan, subdivision and zoning decisions. The Study Area boundaries include the Anthony Kill to the north, Clifton Park/Halfmoon municipal boundary to the west, Mechanicville and Route 146 to the east, and Farm to Market Road/Vosburgh Road/Route 146 to the south, including adjacent properties.
