Positive Declaration with Public Scoping

Westchester County - The Planning Board of the Town of North Castle, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cider Mill Plaza Retail Development may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until March 22, 2001. A public scoping session will be held on March 12, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of North Castle Public Library, 19 Whirpoorwill Road East, Armonk, New York. The action involves the proposed construction of an approximately 41,000 square foot supermarket with 200 parking spaces located on 3.07 acres in the RB, Roadside Business zone, and on 3.45 acres proposed to be preserved as open space, in the R-1A, one-family Residence District. The project is located at 103 and 111 Old Route 22, Town of North Castle.

Westchester County - The Board of Health of Westchester County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Comprehensive Mosquito-borne disease Surveillance and Control Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until March 30, 2001. A public scoping session will be held on March 15, 2001 at 2:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. at the Westchester County Center, Tarrytown Road, White Plains, New York. The project is county-wide.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Dutchess County - The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Dutchess Central Utility Corridor. The action involves development of an approximately 70,000 linear foot water supply pipeline along a county-owned former railroad corridor and some public highways, with a small segment potentially traversing private property. The project is located in the Towns of East Fishkill, Hyde Park, LaGrange, Poughkeepsie and Wappinger, New York.
