Project Description: Applicant proposes a three-lot subdivision involving wetlands. A 39.8 acre parcel with portions of Whiteface Sewer and Jack Rabbit Trail is to be conveyed with restrictions to the Placid Lake Foundation which is seeking an agreement to donate it to the State of New York. An 8.71 acre parcel is to be sold with no current plan for development of this parcel. A 33.9 acre parcel is to be retained by the Julian Reiss Foundation with no further development proposed and it will continue to be used as Camp Montserrate, a summer camp for children.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga and Schenectady Counties - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed additions and alterations to the Stevens, Glenhaven, Pashley and Charlton Heights Elementary; O'Rourke Middle; and the Senior High Schools in the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Central School District, SED Project No. 52-01-01-06-7-999-002 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the district wide implementation of a telephone and computer system including the construction of a microwave tower and infrastructure at each building. The project is located in the Town of Glenville, Schenectady County, and the Towns of Ballston and Charlton, Saratoga County.

Positive Declaration

Fulton County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed acquisition of land and addition/alterations to the Main School Building for the Oppenheim Ephratah Central School District, SED Project No.17-10-01-04-0-001-005, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the purchase of 4.5 acres of land and 3,883 square feet of new additions. The project is located on State Highway 29 in the Town of St. Johnsville.
