Project Description: The Salvation Army proposes to extend the existing infiltration gallery to provide water to Camp Long Point. A new 6,500 square foot course sand and gravel filter bed will be located 45 feet from the shoreline and terminate with 55 feet of 4-inch well screen. The total structure will extend 110 feet into Seneca Lake.The project will include a maximum excavation of 4 feet with back fill of gravel by using a large tracked excavator. The project will be located at the Salvation Army, Camp Long Point, at 100 Long Point Road. The project plans may be reviewed at the NYSDEC office. |
