Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Frog Hollow Industries Mined Land Reclamation Modification Request will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of another 13 acres (11 acres to the east and 2 acres to the north) the the already permitted 18.5 acres which brings the total affected acreage to 31.5 acres of a 53 acre site. The mine floor will also be lowered from elevation 50 feet to elevation 40 feet. The project is located at 275A East Main Street (CR 21), Yaphank.

The action involves the addition of 11.61 acres to an already permittted 21 acres which will bring the total affected acreage to 32.61 acres of a 38.87 acre site. The mine floor will also be lowered from elevation 50 feet to elevation 40 feet. The project is located on East Main Street (CR 21) and east of Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping Session

Nassau County - The Town of Oyster Bay, as lead agency, has determined that the proposal by Cubbies Properties, Inc. for a Special Use Permit may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a draft EIS must be prepared. A Public Scoping Session was held on January 17, 2001. The action involves the construction of an 81,344 sq. ft. supermarket and a 1,800 sq. ft. fueling facility/convenience store on approximately 10 acres of a 30 acres site in an "H" Industrail District. The project is located at 50 Motor Avenue, Farmingdale, Town of Oyster Bay.
