Negative Declaration

Dutchess - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and addition/alterations to the Middle / High School in the Rhinebeck Central School District SED Project No. 13-18-01-04-0-002-014, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the purchase of 11 acres of land and 97,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located on North Park Road in the Village of Rhinebeck.

Ulster County - The Village of Ellenville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed JM Originals Manufacturing Expansion Project Grant will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves assisting a local manufacturing firm by providing affordable financing for the purchase of needed equipment. A total 116 jobs will be retained and/or created and made available to persons from low/moderate income households. The project is located in the Village of Ellenville.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Dutchess County - The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed Dutchess Central Utility Corridor. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at 7:00 PM at the offices of the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, 27 High Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Poughkeepsie. Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until February 2, 2001. The action involves the development of a water supply pipeline, between 13 and 18 miles in length, along a County-owned former rail corridor (Maybrook Rail Branch Line) and some public highways. The proposed pipeline would carry excess water from the jointly owned City-Town of Poughkeepsie's Water Plant and the Hyde Park Water Plant to potential residential, commercial, and industrial users in the Towns of East Fishkill, Wappinger, Hyde Park, and LaGrange. The proposed action will occur within the Towns of Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, LaGrange, Wappinger and East Fishkill.

Dutchess County - The Village of Rhinebeck Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed Village of Rhinebeck Local Zoning Law. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on January 23, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until 4:00 p.m. February 6, 2001. The action involves the adoption by the Village of Rhinebeck Board of Trustees of the proposed Village of Rhinebeck Local Zoning Law. The proposed local zoning law is a revision of the existing zoning code. The project is located within the Village of Rhinebeck.
