Suffolk County - In the August 16, 2000, Environmental Notice Bulletin, the determination by the Huntington Town Board regarding the Wilbur Breslin Easa Easa (#99-ZM-325; a.k.a. Hren Property; http://www.dec.state.ny.us/website/enb2000/20000816/not1.html) was incorrectly labeled as a negative declaration. The Huntington Town Board actually determined that the project may have a significant adverse environmental impact, and directed that an environmental impact statement be prepared. The notice was in all other aspects accurate, including project description, location, and hearing and comment dates.

Nassau County - The Village of Port Washington North, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lewis Oil Company, Inc. and Delco Development Company of Port Washington, L.P., may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The project involves the change of zone from Economic Development "A" to Business District to develop a community shopping center (Port Plaza) as depicted on a site conceptual plan. The project is located within the Village of Port Washington North, located on the easterly side of Shore Road and the southly side of Pleasant Avenue and within the boundaries confined by Pleasant Avenue, Old Shore Road, Shore Road and Smull Road.

Suffolk County - The Huntington Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed AFM Realty of Huntington Corp (#96-ZM-290) a.k.a. Harborfields Estates. The action involves a request for a change of zone from R-40 Residence District to R-20 Residence District for 39.3 acres. The project is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Lake Road and Pulaski Road in Greenlawn.
