The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for the discharge process wastewater from the applicant's stone cutting operation to a tributary of Cascade Creek, a Class C watercourse. The facility is located at 502 Atwell Hill Road

(East side), Town of Windsor, Broome County.

The Department has drafted a Title V Permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law and made a tentative decision to approve this permit for the Raymond Corporation Facility located on Wheeler Street in Greene, NY. The facility manufactures electrically driven fork lifts. Various surface coating operations are the primary source of emissions from the facility. Raymond will comply with the VOC per gallon limit by using compliant coatings.

Emissions from this facility are controlled in accordance with multiple State and Federal regulations. In accordance with 6 NYCRR Parts 621.6(d)(9) and 201-6.1(c), the administrator of the EPA has authority to bar issuance of this permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6 NYCRR Part 201.

Cicero Local Development Corporation proposes to construct the Cicero Community Campus resulting in a proposed disturbance to state wetland BRE-11. The proposed Phase I plan calls for 0.02 acres of fill into the wetland and approx. 0.19 acres in the adjacenet area for access roadways. Project plans are available for review in the DEC Syracuse office.

The applicant proposes to create an open water habitat within state designated freshwater wetland MX-22, Snake Creek, for improved waterfowl habitat. Proposed work includes excavation of approximately 1 acre of the wetland to a maximum depth of 16 feet with disposal of dredged spoil around the proposed pond resulting in approximately 2 acres of wetland disturbance. The project is located approximately 1500 feet upstream of Tubbs Road.

The Department has drafted a permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law and Title V of the Clean Air Act Amendments, and made a tentative decision to approve this permit for the Cornell University Facilities and Campus Services Department's maintenance shop paint spray booth. This Title V permit is one of four (4) Title V permits that will be issued to Cornell University.
