Project Description: The Department has drafted a Title V Permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law and made a tentative decision to approve this permit for the Raymond Corporation Facility located on Wheeler Street in Greene, NY. The facility manufactures electrically driven fork lifts. Various surface coating operations are the primary source of emissions from the facility. Raymond will comply with the VOC per gallon limit by using compliant coatings. Emissions from this facility are controlled in accordance with multiple State and Federal regulations. In accordance with 6 NYCRR Parts 621.6(d)(9) and 201-6.1(c), the administrator of the EPA has authority to bar issuance of this permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6 NYCRR Part 201. The application, draft permit, relevant supporting materials and regulations are available for review during normal business hours at the DEC Region 7 sub-office, 1285 Fisher Avenue, Cortland, NY. Comments of support or objection may be made by filing a written statement by the deadline date indicated.
