Project Description: The applicants propose to construct two ponds, approximately ½ and 2/3 acres in size respectively, in freshwater wetland EC-107 and in its adjacent area. A portion of one driveway will be constructed in the adjacent area of the wetland. The project will involve about 1/4 acre of fill in the adjacent area with about 1/3 acre of adjacent area to be converted to a shallow pond. Two houses will be constructed outside the wetland and its adjacent area. The project site is located on the north side of Dorland Road about 700 feet west of Columbia County Route13 in the Town of Chatham, Columbia County. |
