Applicant proposes to construct two public water supply wells #11 and #12 to be used to meet demands in the Roosevelt Field Water District. Each well will be approximately 600 feet deep and have a capacity of 1,380 gallons per minute. The proposed wells will be located on a 2-acre site north of the Meadowbrook Parkway on Dibblee Drive, Roosevelt Field, Town of Hempstead

The applicant proposes to install two 16" diameter permanent production wells (numbers 1 & 2), each approximately 150 feet deep and each to provide an additional 650 gallon per minute capacity to the Moriches-Westhampton Low Water Supply System (total capacity for the project is 1,300 gallons per minute). The project is located at the east side of Malloy Drive, west of Emmett Drive, East Quogue, Southampton Town, Suffolk County.

Applicant proposes to replace one existing supply well with three wells #1A, 2 and 3. Each well will have one-third the oriinal permitted capacity of the existing well. The three wells will be 10" diameter to be placed at a depth of 180' with a capacity of 100 gallons per minute. The wells will be located on the east side of Farrington Road approx. 570 feet north of Flanders Road, Montauk, Town of East Hampton.

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve a permit to discharge 10,000 gallons per day of laundromat wastewater to groundwater. The wastewater will be generated by washing machines and treated by an Aquarelle treatment system prior to being discharged. The groundwater in this area has been designated a sole source aquifer. The project is located at 197 Mastic Beach Road, Mastic Beach, Suffolk County. A draft permit is available for review in the DEC regional office in Stony Brook.

The applicant proposes to operate a research development & demonstration project to compost 200 cubic yards of paper mill residual to determine the decomposition specifics and possible finished product use as an organic fertilizer. The project is located on the Ringhoff Farm, n/o County Rd. 51 & e/o Rt. 111 in Eastport, Suffolk County, SCTM # 0200-512-01-21.
