Negative Declaration

Greene County - The Catskill Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Moratorium on the Establishment of Adult Use Business will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves enactment of a local law to impose a moratorium on the review, approval and/or relating to the establishment of adult use businesses in the Town of Catskill.

Otsego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Otsego RA #1; Stand A-23-Plantation Release will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the application of the herbicide (Glyfos) to reduce the competition from undesirable woody and herbaceous vegetation on a 10-acre site in the Town of Roseboom. This action will remove the target vegetation on the site for a period of time sufficient to allow the planted spruce to attain enough size to dominate and fully occupy the site. The only vegetation to be removed is non-threatened or non-endangered species. Impact on public health is minimal. Personnel will be equipped with safety equipment. Also, following label instructions for the application will minimize risk. The project is located one and one-half miles south of Pleasant Book, in the Town of Roseboom.

Rensselaer County - The Town Board of the Town of North Greenbush, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of North Greenbush Water District No. 12 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the establishment of a new Water District No. 12 to provide municipal water service to Town of North Greenbush residents in the western and southern portions of the Town. Action will allow for the installation of approximately 100,000 feet of 24", 12", 8" and 6" water mains and appurtenances. The project is located on various streets in the western and southern portions of the Town of North Greenbush.

Rensselaer County - The Town Board of the Town of North Greenbush, as lead agency has determined that the proposed rezoning of a portion of lands of John J. Gallogly and Thomas K. Gallogy will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of approximately 35 acres of vacant land from Professional Business and Single-Family Residential to General Business. The project is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of NYS Route 4 and 43.

Rensselaer County - The State Education Daprtment, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lansingburgh Central School District, Control Number 49-06-01-06-0-015-005, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves alterations to the Turnpike Elementary School. The project is located on New Turnpike Road, Troy, New York.

Positive Declaration

Dutchess County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of Rhinebeck, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Zoning Law of the Village of Rhinebeck may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves revising the Zoning Local Law. The project is villagewide.

Montgomery County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and construction of a New Education Building for the Hamilton Fulton Montgomery BOCES, SED Project No. 20-90-00-00-0-015-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the purchase of 16 acres of land and 155,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located on New York State Route 67 in the Towns of Johnstown and Glen.
