Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pawling Central School District, Control Number 13-12-01-04-5-008-001, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a new bus maintenance facility. The project is located at Resevoir Road, Pawling, New York.

Orange County - The City Council of the City of Newburgh, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of amendments to Chapter 300 Zoning and the City of Newburgh Zoning Map will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to adopt amendments to the zoning local law and zoning map which include: eliminate residential use from existing industrial and office districts; reduce the residential density associated with new construction and rehabilitation; modernize the city's zoning regulations to conform to current New York City Law; establish special use permit approval authority with the Planning Board in order to streamline the development review process; create the Colonial Terraces Architectural Design District; and create the Hudson Waterfront Architectural Design District. The project is located citywide.

Putnam County - The Town of Patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Patterson Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Patterson which replaces the existing comprehensive plan.

Putnam County - The Town of Patterson, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Local Law #8 "Commercial Composting," will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law #8, which amendment will revise the Patterson Town Code, Chapter 153-3. It includes a definition for Commercial Composting and Chapter 154-32(A) to provide an exception to commercial composting as a permitted use in the industrial zoning district. The project is located in the Town of Patterson.

Ulster County - The Town Board of the Town of Gardiner, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Resolution No. 113-2000 New Town Hall Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves excavation, construction of drives and parking areas, and drainage swales within the 100' buffer area of a designated, but unidentified, wetland. The project is located on NYS Route 44/45.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Westchester County - The Town Board of the Town of Yorktown, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Croton Heights Area Rezoning Study. The action involves several zoning map changes and two zoning text changes which rezones an area from R-140 to R1-80 creating a new Farmland Preservation Overlay District and a Country Commercial District. The study area consists of a 3.28 square mile area in the Town of Yorktown.
