Project Description:

Gravel mining operation on 7.3 acres during the permit term, within a 14.2 acre life of mine facility on a 43.36 acre parcel of land. Applicant proposes to process the gravel with a screening operation. No mining below the water table and no washing of gravel . Project is located on the east side of NYS Route 96 between Anderson Hill Road and Dominick Road on the Allyn Storm property.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
SEQR Lead Agency: NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: A cultural resources survey has been completed. The report of the survey is on file. No archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
