Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct: A docking facility for commercial vessels consisting of a deck on piles 1100 square feet in size extending approximately 20 feet seaward from Mean High Water (MHW), an 1100 square foot floating dock with 2 gangways and 4 dolphins. A 68 slip marina consisting of runways and finger piers constructed of floating dock assemblies totaling approximately 22,300 square feet, moored with piles and concrete anchors. The marina will be protected with floating wave attenuators. The entire project, which is associated with and an existing restaurant, is part of the City of Newburgh Waterfront Restoration Plan. It will occupy approximately 2 acres in the Hudson River. All floating docks will be removed seasonally.
