Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town Board of the Town of Warwick, as lead agency has determined that the proposed rezoning of M (Manufacturing) District to A (Agricultural Industry) Petition of Abbate, Bamberger, Banker, Blomfield, Caskey, et.al. for the amendment of certain provisions of the Zoning Law of the Town of Warwick will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a request of the Town Board to rezone an "M" Manufacturing zone in the western part of Warwick to become a part of the existing adjacent "A" Agricultural Industry zone. The project is located in the Town of Warwick.

Sullivan County - The Planning Board of the Town of Mamakating, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Kohl's Department Stores, Inc. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a four lot subdivision and approval of the Site Development Plan. The project is located along State Route 209 near the intersection of McDonald Road in the Town of Mamakating.

Westchester County - The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Yonkers Public Library and Board of Education relocation by Community Development Properties Yonkers, Inc. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the reuse and expansion of the Port Authority building. This would require the acquisition of Block 2006, Lots 1, 5, 22, 24 and 26, and the demolition of a two-story commercial building that currently occupies Lots 22 and 24 and to acquire a lot known as Lot G, Block 2002, Section 2 on the City of Yonkers Tax Maps at Nepperhan Avenue with Market Street, for utilization as part of this action. The project is located at 38 Wells Avenue, 65 Dock Street and lot at Nepperhan Avenue and Market Street, City of Yonkers.

Dutchess County- The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and addition/alterations to the Middle/High School in the Rhinebeck Central School District, SED Project No. 13-18-01-04-0-002-014, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the purchase of 11 acres of land and 97,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located on North Park Road in the Village of Rhinebeck.

Positive Declaration and Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Dutchess County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pawling School District, Control No. 13-12-01-04-5-008-001, may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until December 6, 2000. The action involves 3,575 square feet of new construction on existing property. The project is located on Resevoir Road in the Town of Pawling.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Westchester County - The Planning Board of the Village of Scarsdale, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Windmill/Fairview Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on December 14, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at Rutherford Hall in Scarsdale Village Hall, Scarsdale, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until December 26, 2000. The action involves a 8-lot residential subdivision, including the provision of an internal cul-de-sac roadway, storm water management facilities and ancillary utilities. The project is located between Fairview Road and Windmill Lane in the northwest portion of the Village of Scarsdale.

Notice of Acceptance of Final Supplemental EIS

Dutchess County - The Planning Board of the Town of East Fishkill, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Unity Plaza Site Plan Amendment. The action involves an application for site plan approval on a 11.49-acre parcel for a commercial development with associated parking and drainage. The project is located on the north side of NY Route 82, opposite Unity Street and approximately 900 feet west of the intersection of NY Routes 82 and 376 in the Hamlet of Hopewell Junction, East Fishkill.
