Project Description: The Department has drafted a permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law and Title V of the Federal Clean Air Act Amendments, and mhas made a tentative determination to approve this permit for the existing Sonoco Flexible Packaging, Inc. production facility, located at 6 Morrill Place, Fulton, NY. This facility consists of three rotogravure printing presses, a chrome plating operation, and various production and support operations. Emissions from this facility are controlled in accordance with multiple State and Federal regulations. The draft permit and application are available for public review at the Region 7, Syracuse office. In accordance with 6NYCRR Parts 621.6(d)(9) and 201-6.1(c), the administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency has authority to bar issuance of a Title V Facility Permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6NYCRR Part 201. |
