Orange County - The Town Board of the Town of Blooming Grove, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Wireless Communications Facilities Local Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Zoning Law amendment which regulates the areas where wireless communications facilities, such as cellular telephone facilities and towers, may be located. The project is a town-wide application.

Orange County - The Town Board of the Town of Warwick, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law #6 of 2000, Rezoning Parcels in Pine Island Area from M to A, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a request to rezone an M Manufacturing zone in the western part of Warwick to become a part of the existing adjacent A Agricultural Industry zone. The project is located in the Town of Warwick.

Orange County - The Planning Board of the Town of Cornwall, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Capital Self-Storage Site Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the approval for a 98,100 square foot, self-storage facility with 1,200 square foot accessory office on a 15.58-acre portion of a 116.88-acre tract of land in the Planned Industrial Office zoning district. The project is located in the Town of Cornwall east of Woodbury Creek.

Rockland County - The Planning Board of the Village of Airmont, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Stop & Shop Local Convenience Shopping Center. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on December 11, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at Cherry Lane Elementary School, Heather Drive, Tallman, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until 10 days after the close of the public hearing. The action involves the site plan and conditional use permit approval of a development described as a Local Convenience Shopping Center, which includes 64,998 square foot Supper Stop & Shop tegether with 356 spaces of off-street parking. The project is located on the southwest corner of the New York State Route 59/South Airmond Road intersection, Village of Airmont.

Westchester County - The New Rochelle City Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Fifth Avenue Urban Renewal Plan and Fifth Avenue Retail Center Project. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on November 16, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. at City Council Chambers, City Hall, 515 North Avenue, New Rochelle. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until 10 days after the close of the Public Hearing. The action involves the adoption of the proposed Fifth Avenue Urban Renewal Plan and the applicable zoning text, map changes and other approvals to permit the proposed redevelopment of 16.4 acres. The project is located on Fifth Avenue, Valley Place, Portman Road, Plain Avenue and Beihn Street in the City of New Rochelle.

Westchester County - The Planning Board of the Town of Lewisboro will convene a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at 7:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, at the Town House, 11 Main Street, South Salem, New York. The Public Hearing will be held regarding the application for a special permit approval pertaining to communications facilities pursuant to Sections 220-32 and 220-41.1 of the Lewisboro Zoning Ordinance from Sprint Spectrum, LP to construct a 150 foot monopole, the installation of nine directional panel antennae at a height of 150 feet, one GPS antenna at the height of 60 feet and a lightening rod, eight feet in height which will exceed the top of the monopole by eight feet. The project is located on the westerly side of Interstate 684, Goldens Bridge, New York.
