Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Transportation, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Norris Lane to Cranberry Hole Road Project ID No 0058.92.101 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves:
1. A 3R Project on Montauk Highway (NY 27) from Norris Lane in the hamlet of Bridgehampton to Cranberry Hole Road in the hamlet of Beach Hampton, with a total project length of 17.1 km (10.7 miles)
2. This project will also reconstruct the Second House Road, Edgemere Street Circle, West Lake Drive, Old West Lake Drive and East lake Drive intersections with Route 27.
3. A 3R segment of Buell's Lane from NY 27 northward to Highway Behind the Lots in the Village of East Hampton.
4. A miscellaneous drainage improvement where NY 114 Passes beneth the LIRR bridge in the Village of East Hampton.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Application of Chabad of Great Neck for a religious institution. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on November 29, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at the Auditorium at John F. Kennedy School, 14 Grassfield Road, Kings Point, NY 11024. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until 10 calendar days following the public hearing. The action involves the construction of a building to be used for religious purposes which requires a special exception permit and variances.
