Project Description:

The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District (CCSWCD) propose to do work for the Town of Niles, in Dutch Hollow Brook, north of the Old State Road Crossing. They propose to insert a 182 cubic yard rock vein into the stream and bank, to divert the water flow away from and to protect, the banks and the bridge.

Project Description:

The owners of the Owasco Yacht Club, located on East Lake Road, Fire Lane #2, propose the following for the Club: 1) Rebuild a 130' seawall, but have the wall extend out an additional 48" from the original wall; 2) Dredge both sides of a boat launch ramp approximately 10-12 feet on either side of it, to an approximate depth of 1 foot; and 3) Rebuild a 90' wall used for launching of sailboats (with a crane), with new steel pilings, at the same height, of 5 1/2 ', above the water line.
