Project Description: The applicant proposes to fill 0.36 acres of federally protected wetlands to facilitate construction of the Buckingham Mews subdivision project. Initial construction prior to 1990 resulted in approximately 0.40 acres of previous wetland disturbance. Proposed mitigation is to conduct a study of the Krum Kill at a cost of approximately $5,000, to establish a baseline of existing stream corridor conditions to be used to develop recommendations for improving and/or maintaining water quality and natural features along the stream corridor and tributaries. The project is located at the intersection of New Scotland Road and Krumkill Road, in the City of Albany, Albany County. |
