Project Title: Wilson/Doyle

Project description: The project is a shoreline stabilization project involving the filling of approximately 530 sq. ft. of wetlands above the mean high water mark of Lake Champlain. Approximately 153 ft. of the shoreline will be stabilized by installing large concrete blocks as a key-way and then covering them with stone rubble and introducing vegetation. The area above the shoreline stabilization project will be graded and revegetated with a mix of woody stem vegetation and ground cover to prevent future erosion problems along the shoreline of Lake Champlain. Erosion control measures will be installed prior to any earth disturbance on the project site. The shoreline stabilization project will protect the water quality of Lake Champlain and the emergent marsh wetland within the mean high water mark of Lake Champlain along the shoreline of the project site.
