Project Description: The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit (SPDES No. NY0258903) for a surface discharge of 24,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary wastewater into the West Branch of French Creek (Class C, Standard C) from the applicant's proposed Holiday Inn Express Hotel. The proposal includes the construction of 15,700 square foot, 87-room hotel; 34,430 square feet of paved parking and driveway; sanitary wastewater facility; grading and landscaping that includes an approximate 4,500 square foot area of the regulated 100 foot wide adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland SR-11. The proposal is located on Route 426 just north of Interstate 86. |
