Project Description:

The applicant proposes to restore about 0.3 acre of State-designated Freshwater Wetland No. F-2 by the removal of about 700 cubic yards of sediment that has eroded into the wetland. The project site is located on the north side of Green Briar Drive, about 0.3 mile east of the intersection with Warren Street. The erosion was caused by storm water runoff from the Green Briar Subdivision. The project will also involve the installation of a storm water drainage system that includes 100 linear feet of 18-inch diameter pipe and a stone velocity dissapator within the 100-foot adjacent area of the wetland. In a second nearby location within the wetland adjacent area, an existing storm water outfall will also be reconstructed.
