The applicant proposes to enlarge an existing agricultural pond within Freshwater Wetland RS-1, a class 1, 820 acre wetland. The pond surface area will increase from .4 acres to .5 acres . The purpose is for fire protection and livestock watering. The work would also include expanding the existing dike. The project is located 2,950 feet east of Tunnicliff Road and 500 south of Hogsback Road in the Town of Warren.

The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES)permit. DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five-year period, maintaining the current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements. This permit involves the surface discharge of 18,500 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the St. Lawrence River Trib.

Dredge approximately 2122 cubic yards of sediment from along the waterfront of four adjacent properties on Iroquois Island with the total dredge area to measure 520' x 50' and 165' x 16' with 2' of material to be removed and pumped to an upland containment area. The project is located offshore from the first four properties located northeast of the bridge on Iroquois Island in the St. Lawrence River.
