Project Description:

The Department proposes to issue a State Facility Permit for an application that was received for General Electric Turbine Plant at 1 River Road, Schenectady, NY 12345, in Schenectady County, owned by General Electric Co. of Fairfield, CT. Operations at the River Road facility consist of the manufacture of steam turbines and generators, testing of gas turbine combustor units, and research and development to support steam turbine generator manufacturing. The project is to be constructed in Building 66 at the River Road facility and consists of an emission unit with four emission points, sources that include a new spray paint booth and portable spray paint booths using only compliant coatings, and filters to control source emissions.
