Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to modify an existing permit for a gravel mine on Hayes Road in the Town of Phelps. The modification consists of mining below the water table and an increase in the depth of excavation to an elevation of 390 ft. The mine is located on the west side of Hayes Road approximately 0.25 miles south of the intersection with NYS Route 96. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the Regional Office of NYS DEC.
