Negative Declaration

Essex County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Sharp Bridge Public Campground tree cutting and construction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves removal of 28 trees for the construction of a new comfort station and septic system as required by SPDES permit NY-023-9402, DEC #5-1542-00017/00001. Tops and stems will be chipped and dispersed on site. Comfort station replacement at this location has been coordinated with the Adirondack Park Agency. The project is located at the Sharp Bridge Public Campground, Town of North Hudson.

Warren County - The Olympic Regional Development Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment of the 1995 Unit Management Plan for the Gore Mountain Ski Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The amendment will provide for the development of an easier trail by which to descend the summit of Bear Mountain, which is accessed by the recently constructed Northwoods Gondola, thus improving outdoor recreational opportunities at Gore Mountain. The project is located in Warren County, Town of Johnsburg, New York State Forest Preserve lands classified as the Gore Mountain Ski Center.

SERP Action - Draft Negative Declaration

Essex County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, DWSRF Project # 15892, the Town of Chesterfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Safe Drinking Water Act Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of 4,650 l.f. of 6" dlp and 2,800 l.f. of 8" dlp, to replace existing substandard water distribution facilities. The project is located in Chesterfield, New York.

Essex County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, DWSRF Project # 15795, the Village of Port Henry, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Safe Drinking Water Act Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of 10,622 l.f. of water transmission mains along Main Street and Broad Street and the installation of one Booster Pump Station on Broad Street. The project is located within the Village of Port Henry.
