Project Description: The applicant has requested a modification to his mining permit to allow the permanent use of a single stage primary jaw rock crusher (Eagle, 15"x36" jaw size) with a design capacity of less than 150 tons/hour at the permitted mine site off NYS Rte 9 near Deerhead. The proposed crusher will be located within the approved 25 acre life of mine acreage and will only be authorized to operate within the previously established mine operation hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The applicant has also applied for a modification to his Adirondack Park Agency permit (APA # 99-47) issued on June 24, 1999.
