Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The Town of Onondaga, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Town of Onondaga, Local Law No. 7 for the year 2000 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption by the Town of Onondaga of Local Law No. 7 for the year 2000, which Local Law relates to Adult Uses within the Town of Onondaga. The project affects all the lands located within the Town of Onondaga.

Oswego County - The Oswego County Legislature, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Oswego County Comprehensive Plan -2000 Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of amendments to the Oswego County Comprehensive Plan which primarily address the issue of telecommunication tower development. The project area is all of Oswego County, New York.

Amended Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The Cicero Local Development Corp., as lead agency has determined that the proposed Cicero Community Campus will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of the Cicero Community Campus. The lead agency has considered all comments concerning traffic in the surrounding area and is satisfied that the conceptual plan as proposed, will not have a negative impact on the environment. The project is located on Route 11, Cicero, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Cortland County - The Planning Board of the Town of Preble, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Application of Proposed Flying J. Travel Plaza. A Special Meeting and Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Preble Fire Hall, 1911 Preble Road, Preble, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until September 5, 2000. The action involves the construction of a Flying J. Travel Plaza. The project is located along NYS Route 281 adjacent to the Interstate 81 Interchange at Exit 13 in the Town of Preble.

Onondaga County - The Town of Manlius Planning Board, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Kirkwood Park Zone Change. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted at a later date by the contact person. The action involves a proposed change of zone of 45.5 acres of vacant Residential Agricultural land to an Industrial Zone to create an 85 acre business/manufacturing park. The project is located on Kirkville Road, Town of Manlius, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental Draft EIS

Onondaga County - The Town of Onondaga Planning Board, as lead agency has accepted a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Brittany Hills Subdivision (Amended Preliminary Plan and Final Plan Approval). A public hearing on the Supplemental Draft EIS will be held on August 28, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 4801 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 28, 2000. The action involves the proposal to amend the preliminary plan of the Brittany Hills Subdivision to provide for an alternate drainage scheme for a portion of the subdivision. The project site is bounded by Skyline Drive on the south, by Broad Road on the east and on the west by Cleveland Road in the Town of Onondaga.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Onondaga County - The Planning Board, Village of Skaneateles, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Skaneateles Community Recreation Center. The action involves a proposal to build an indoor recreation facility on an approximately 19 acre parcel of land located immediately adjacent to C.M. Austin Park in the Village of Skaneateles. The facility would be constructed in multiple phases, and would ultimately consist of two ice rinks, a central lobby area, an indoor aquatic facility, meeting rooms, offices, locker rooms, and other spaces for community uses. The facility will be donated to the Village of Skaneateles following completion, and the Town of Skaneateles Recreation Department will operate the facility. The project is located on the northern part of the Village of Skaneateles,, New York and bounded by Jordan Road on the West and State Street, also known as Route 321, on the East and by the property known as Austin Park in the Village.
